Zelletta (Zelda) Fisher

Zelletta (Zelda) Fisher, age 89, completed her journey on November 7, 2016. Born in Akron, she was a lifelong resident of the Mogadore/Suffield area. Zelda really enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting, and especially loved traveling with her late husband. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald; six siblings; her parents; and sons-in-law, Verl Hoisington and Artie Namolik, she is survived by her children, Linda (Russell) Poling, Sandra Hoisington, Donna Namolik, William (Linda) Fisher and Debra Baum; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Larry Akers. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at The Gables of KentRidge for the excellent, loving care that was given to our mother. Funeral service will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Rev. Lanny Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. The family suggests memorials to the Suffield Twp.
