Yvonne Louise (Moore) Ward

Yvonne Louise (Moore) Ward, born in Mogadore December 29, 1935, left her home to go with her family in heaven to be with her dad and mom, Paul and Katie (Flittner); sisters, Helen Conley and Marjorie Johnson; and brothers, Paul V. and Gerald Moore. Yvonne was from the Class of 1953 at Mogadore. She worked at Mogadore Christian Church, Eldon’s Artware, Mogadore Savings Bank, First National of Akron, First Merit, Beacon Journal and Giant Eagle in Green. She was a member of AARP Green 5042, the Mogadore Historical Society, and the Mogadore Alumni Association. Yvonne leaves behind her husband, Herbert (Ed) of 61 years; son, H. Eddie (Nita); daughters, Carmel (Bob) Griffin and Cynthia Alcorn (Bob Ferencz); eight grandchildren, Christine (Chad) Kelly, H. Eddie III (Diana) Ward, Jason (Heather) Ward, Dustin Griffin, Christian Griffin, Katrina (Louis) Polos, Denise Alcorn and Jaime Alcorn; eight great-grandchildren, Kimmie, April, Nathan, Hunter, Ella, Hanna, Carter, Owen and his brother, too; five step grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
