RANDOLPH – William L. “Butch” Kissel, age 76, went to join his mother, Sophie, his father, Harry, his uncle, Casmir and his brother, Bobby in Heaven after passing away at his home on May 11, 2019.
Born in Ravenna, he was a lifelong resident of Randolph. Butch retired from the trucking industry after many years of driving for Ryder Ranger Trucking. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting. Butch was very passionate about his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Sophie; brother, Robert (Bobby); uncle, Casmir; sister-in-law, Sandy Kissel; and brother-in-law, Kirk Rice, he is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; sons, Cory (Judy), Mark (Kathy) and Todd (Robin); daughter, Rebecca Pasquale; stepchildren, Ernie, Bud, Linda and Paul LaBillois; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Fred; and sisters, Patricia (Richard) O’Desky and Martha Rice.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260 with Father Thomas Acker, S.J. presiding. Friends and family will be received at the church one hour prior to the mass, from 10 to 11 a.m., on Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
