William James Andrews

Bill passed away in his sleep as his wife Bernice had done in 2006.

He was born in Dennison, Ohio, and his family moved to Akron in 1929. Bill graduated from Easy High School and worked for Goodyear. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking, playing cards and putting together jugsaw puzzles.

He is survived by his son James (Dawne) and his daughter Janice Williams. Bill's grandchildren include Julia (James) of Austin TX, William (Feliz) of Alameda CA, Eric (Beth) Williams of Dublin CA, and Andrew Williams of Sarasota FL. He has four great-grandchildren living in CA, Will and Weston Andrews and Harrison and Rebecca Williams.

Bill had many good friends at Briar Creek Park in Safety Harbor, Florida, and the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, Ohio. His family would like to thank his caregivers at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville, Ohio.

At Bill's request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Relay for Life would be appreciated.
