Wallen Conway Stacy

Wallen Conway Stacy, 87, passed away October 27, 2012.

Born in Stacy Fork, Ky., he lived most of his life in the Akron area. Mr. Stacy was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 39-1/2 years. He was a member of the Goodyear Hunting and Fishing Club and the NRA, and loved golfing.

Preceded in death by his parents, Creed and Lutie; brother, James W.; and sister, Mildred K., he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arlene M.; daughter, Deborah Biller (Stacy); granddaughter, Stacy Biller; grandson, Brian Biller; great-grandson, Jaccobb; and great-granddaughter, Aerowyn.

Funeral service Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312 wit Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, where military rites will be conducted by Mogadore VFW Post 8487. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
