Virginia L. Callihan

Virginia L. Callihan, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Akron to her parents, Clarence and Ethel Fenner, she lived in Mogadore most of her life. Virginia’s family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kind heart and spirit filled those around her with fun times and great memories. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald; sister, Margaret Donaldson; and granddaughter, Staci Callihan, Virginia is survived by sons, Donald, Tom (Pam), Jeff (Lily) and Terry (Barb); grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer, Rachael, Kyle, Kory, Joe and Tom; and great-grandchildren, Blake, Lucas and Rebecca. Virginia’s family would like to thank the staff at Heather Knoll for the love and care that was given to their mother. Funeral service will be held Sunday, 5 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m. Burial will take place Monday, 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
