Vickie S. Noice, age 67, received her ultimate healing on February 12, 2018
Born in Wooster, Ohio, she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Vickie was employed with the Akron Blind Center and Workshop over 20 years and was a member of the First Church of God in Tallmadge. Vickie enjoyed spending time doing bead work and she was especially good at sending cards to her friends and family and remembering all their special occasions.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Katherine; and brother, Thomas; she is survived by numerous loving family members and friends.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Family and friends will be received Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Josh Deeter officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the First Church of God, 464 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 or the Akron Blind Center, 325 E. Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44304.
