Vera I. Snowden

Vera Snowden, 49, passed away on January 23, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Akron, she graduated from Garfield High School and was employed at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. 

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Snowden II; father, Dewitt Keyton I; brother, Carl Rutledge; and sister, Becky McArthur. She is survived by her sons, Robert Snowden III and Kenneth Weaver; daughter, Bobbi Snowden; grandchildren, Joel Vaughn, Kenny, Faigen; mother, Irma Sterling; brothers, Ricky and Dewitt; sisters, Cindy and Donna; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, February 2^nd at 1:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Family and friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
