Tom Baum

Tom “Tommy” Baum, age 60, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2013.

Born in Akron, he was a life resident and graduated from Springfield High School. Tommy enjoyed bird watching, photography, wine making and traveling, and most of all spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jeanne Baum; brother, Bob; and sister, Carol. Tommy was loved and will be missed by his wife, Lisa; son, Jason (Shannon); daughter, Jamie (Kris) Sloan; grandchildren, Taylor (Josh), Jaysen, Dodger and Bodey; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Teagan; brothers, Larry (Brenda) and Jim (Debbie); sisters, Nancy (Cliff) Bruce and Patty Bost; sisters-in-law, Laura Gullo and Beth Sellin; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and –nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. In lieu of other remembrances, Tommy’s family suggests that you plant a tree in his memory.
