Timothy A. Cummings

Timothy A. Cummings, age 63, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2017. A life resident of Akron, he graduated from Garfield High School in 1973 and was a long distance truck driver for 34 years. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren doing activities such as fishing, exploring, painting and building models. Preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Anna; stepmother, Helen; and sister, Judy Husk, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rebecca; daughters, Melinda, Erin and Kellie (Daniel); grandchildren, Tristan, Jordyn, Annica, Emma, Carter and Maddox; twin brother, Truman; sisters, Carolyn and Georgianna; mother-in-law, Betty; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Rev. James Wolf officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
