Thomas M. "Tom" Felber

Thomas M. “Tom” Felber, age 72, passed away on June 28, 2018. Born in Akron, Tom lived the last 31 years in Mogadore. He graduated from Akron Garfield High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom loved Ohio State, the Cleveland Indians and playing golf. His greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for his grandkids. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Barb; brother, Tony Felber; and sister, Barbie Cowell, Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Denise; son, Thomas Felber; daughter, Nicole (Kyle) Clawson; grandchildren, Marley and Anna Clawson; brothers, Frank (Anita), John (Dot), Bernie (Millie) and Rick (Marianne) Felber; and sister-in-law, Carol Felber. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mogadore Fire & Rescue Dept., 135 S.
