Thomas B. Cook

Thomas B. Cook, age 75, passed away on February 11, 2021. Thomas was born and lived in Akron, Ohio and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from law enforcement after 30 years of service. Thomas was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Millheim Baptist Church. Thomas’s interests were hunting, fishing, and time spent with his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow and being involved in the law enforcement community. Preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Cook and Mary Coffman; and daughter in law, Nicole Cook. Thomas is survived by his son, Tom Cook; daughter, Melissa Jones (Matt); grandchildren, Ellana Jones, Taylor Cook, Molly Jones, Zander Cook, Gabby Jacobs and Chase Oliver; great grandchildren, Jamison, Paisley and Reagan; brother, Argle Cook (Reeda). Friends and family will be received Friday, February 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 20, at 10 a.m. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
