Theodore E. (Ted) Stump

Theodore (Ted) E. Stump, 70, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012.

A lifetime resident of Springfield Township, he was born on May 19, 1941. Ted provided for his family by working 35 1/2 years at Chrysler in Twinsburg.

He was preceded in death by a young brother, Larry; parents, Gordon and Anna K. (Koval) Stump; and nephew, Mark Marsh. He is survived by his wife, Florence M. (Shatto); son, Bob, daughter-in-law, Tracy and grandsons, Garth and Nicholas of Uniontown; son, Carl and friend, Shirley of Barberton; his sister, Carol, nieces, Julie and Kim, and nephew, James Edward, all of Texas; brother, Fay F., sister-in-law, Nancy, niece Anita, nephews, Chris and Jon and their families, all of North Canton; brother-in-law, Ron, sister-in-law, Debbie and family of Utah; three aunts; and various cousins.

Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron 44312, with Pastor Dave Langdon officiating.  Burial will take place at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and also from 10 a.m. until the service time on Friday.
