Terry Wayne Lawley

Terry was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 12 years and later retired from Petitti’s Garden Center after 28 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and bow hunter. Terry was a lover of people and a genuinely kind, humble, outgoing and positive man. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend.

Terry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phoebe Rae Lawley of Tallmadge; his sister, Janice Lawley McMillen (Jack); and brother, Ned Lawley (Tonia). Children are Gregory Lawley, Jill Cobb (Jason), and Zachary Whitmyer; as well as grandchildren, Rachel Fender, Lauren Fender, Kaylee Cobb, Brayden Cobb and Randy Baker; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bruce and Candy Wagner and Keith and Jan Dague; many nieces and nephews; dear life-long friends, Morris and Donna Hoover, Art Kidd, Dick Shover, Frank Yoder, Burt Thompson, Dewayne Yerkey and Jeff Kisamore.

The family will receive friends at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave. (Rt. 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Brian Nutt officiating. The family requests that all attendees who care to, please wear a piece of camouflage clothing in celebration of Terry's life and passion for the outdoors.
