Terry L. Baker

Terry L. Baker, age 68, passed away on September 17, 2015. 

Born in Akron, he had been a resident of Uniontown for 38 years. Terry graduated from Green High School in 1965 was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Aircraft Braking Systems, and was also a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Eunice Baker; and brother, Ronald Baker. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Baker; daughters, Tina Wilmhoff (Andy) and Tricia Allendorf (Pete); son, Myrl J. Baker (Kim); beloved grandchildren, Caleb, Lydia, Sydney, Audrey, Presley, Ryly and Corey; sister, Suzanne Robert (Larry); niece, Courtney Robert Egli (Cory); sister-in-law, Sharlene Baker; and many faithful friends and family. 

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard W. Ferris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens where Firestone VFW Post 3383 will conduct military rites.
