Teresa Ann Snyder (Collins)

Teresa Ann Snyder (Collins) Teresa Ann Snyder, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2016. 

Born in Morgantown, W. Va., she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Teresa retired from Giant Eagle after 20 years of service, and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for the past 12 years. Teresa always enjoyed her jobs and the people she encountered while working. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Mary Collins; and son, Shawn Snyder, Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Kelvin; sons, Todd Leary and Kevin Snyder; grandchildren, Gage and Lexi Snyder; brother, Ronnie Collins Jr. (Nicky); sisters, Debbie Miller and Sherry (Rob) Farthing; other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of Cleveland Avenue & 619). Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. The family suggests memorials to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
