Tamara S. "Tami" Horton

Tamara S. (Tami) Horton, age 51, passed away from this life, November 21, 2012, peacefully at her home after a long illness.

She was born in Akron and lived all her life here. Tami graduated from Springfield High School in 1979. She loved shopping, especially for shoes and reading.

She was preceded in death by sister, Rhonda Horton; father and step-mother, Bill and Virginia Horton; step brothers, Louis & Steve Tyson. She is survived by her mother, Wanda (Jim) Tyson; step sister, Aleta (Mike) Fisher; sister-in-law, Shelise (Mike) Boso; brother, Billy (Trish) Horton; sister, Vicky (Todd) Horning; nephew, Dan Tyson; nieces, Valerie (Adam) Coleman, Heather and Melany Leek; twin great nieces, McKayla and Isabella Johnson; and her dear and loving friend, Terry Johnston; and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532) Mogadore, Ohio 44260 with Pastor Elmer Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 4:30–8:00 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mogadore Christian Church, 106 S. Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
