Sue Ann Duffield

Sue Ann Duffield was born November 16, 1944 and was received by the Lord on December 29, 2021 after a short illness at Akron General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; son, Randy; parents, Harold and Nellie Alice Rankin; brother, Harold (Sonny) Rankin; sisters, Blanche Phillippi, Roberta Rankin, and infants Ilene Thelma and Vera May Rankin. She is survived by her son, David Duffield; daughter, Sharlene Duffield; brother, Tom (Linda) Rankin; sister, Norma Jean Wilson; grandsons, Adam and Bobby Duffield; sister-in-law, Bonnie Duffield; extended family Donovan Gajovski and family; and many nieces and nephews. She loved having her family around and could be counted on to provide a good meal or a place to stay. She loved gardening and taking care of her pets. Friend and family of Sue will be welcomed at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home at 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 on Thursday, January 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will take place immediately following at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio.
