Stephen M. Panar

Stephen Panar, age 49, passed away November 5, 2017. Born in Akron, Steve lived in the Akron and Cleveland areas all his life. He graduated from Green High School in 1986 and was employed with the Union Laborers Local 860 for 25 years. Steve loved music, spending time outdoors and animals, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children. Preceded in death by his father, Mark Panar; and grandparents, Charles and Shirley Vellettay; he is survived by his sons, Nikolas Forestiero, Stephen Jr., and Zachary and Zaine Panar; mother of his children, Teena Panar; mother, Faye Vellettay; brother, Erik Ankeny; aunt and uncle, Susan and Russ Baker; and special friend, Susie Porter. Friends and family will be received Saturday, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312.
