Stephanie J. Ramsay

Stephanie J. Ramsay, 67, went home to be with her parents in Heaven on February 9, 2023 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born to Calvin (Bud) and Jean (Finney) Ramsay, Stephanie resided in the Akron area her entire life and was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. After graduating in 1973 from Springfield High School, she attended Mount Union College and graduated from The University of Akron. Stephanie retired as a Managing Director after 38 years of service at EJ Thomas Hall and the Civic Theater.

Never missing a good lunch or dinner with friends, Stephanie also enjoyed travelling with friends, shopping, and Tuesday pontoon outings with her swim friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Stephanie is survived by her animals, Cooper, Vinnie, Stuart, Milo, Bella, and Lucy; life-long friend, Judith McCloskey; many cousins and a multitude of friends.

Per her request, a private graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 or the Summit County Humane Society (summithumane.org).
