Shirley Ann Williams, age 82, passed away on July 31, 2018 following a brief illness.
Born in Danville, Illinois, she lived in the Akron/Portage County areas most of her life.
Shirley was a member of the Akron Club of the Deaf, and was affiliated for many years with the Greenleaf Family Services organization. She was a homemaker, and was the most loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Shirley loved knitting and flowers, but her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Curtis; mother, Lydia Graham; father, Russell Hollingsworth; and two brothers, Shirley is survived by daughters, Melissa Suffolk, Sandra Marshall and Tina Williams; grandchildren, Dominic, Caleb, Isaiah, Haley and Alexander; brother, Edward Graham; and many other relatives and friends.
Family and friends will be received Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral Service will follow the visitation on Friday at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Mark Muzzillo officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the Greenleaf Family Center, 580 Grant Street, Akron, OH 44311.
