Shirley Ann Lasater

Shirley Ann Lasater, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2015. 

Born in Parkersburg, W.Va., she lived her childhood in Ohio and traveled with her family to many places worldwide. Shirley was a devoted wife, and dedicated her life to caring for family and friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; she is survived by sons, Keith, Mark and John; daughter, Malinda (Dave) Mooney; grandchildren, Lisa (Dale) Thompson, Laura (Michael) Reid, Cody, Kayla and Katie; and great-grandchildren, Blake, Addyson, Braylon, Brighton and Connor. 

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor W. James Case officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
