Sherry Lynn Page

Sherry Lynn Page, 73, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2025.

Born in Akron, she was a lifetime resident of the area and graduated from Ellet High School. She worked many places, including Acme and Avon. Sherry enjoyed playing Bingo, antiquing, baking, and travelling. But most of all, she loved being with her family and her Schnauzers.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley (Bruno) Praspal, and Peter Cook. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward Page; children, Charles (Melissa) Dobbins, Shelley Shadeck, Stacy (Matt) Spangler; grandchildren, Nick, Megan, Ethan, David (Heather); sister-in-law, Patricia Kuss (Charles); aunts, Irene Welch and Kay Pfaff; special cousin, Elaine Mellinger (Tim).

Family and friends will be received Sunday, March 30th from 1 to 4pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 31st at 11am with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44308.

The family would also like to thank Brookdale-Barberton for welcoming Sherry to their family and for the many friends she made there, and Traditions Hospice for the loving care they provided.
