Sally A. Weatherholt (Pawlowski)

Sally A. Weatherholt, 69, went home to be with the Lord November 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Barberton, was a life resident of the area and graduated from Garfield High School. Sally was a former member of Eagles Aerie #555 and American Legion Post 0566. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed her flower garden and family.

Preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Laura Pawlowski; sister, Sue Burtan; and granddaughter, Nicole Cooper. She is survived by partner of 19 years, George R. Waters, Jr; sons, Robert A. (Georgia) Weatherholt Jr., Joe A. (Jenny) Weatherholt, Bruce A. (Angel) Weatherholt; daughters, Linda (Gary) Thornton, Brenda Weatherholt; grandchildren, Amy, Jonathon, Amanda, Nicholas, Rachelle, Scott, Zachary and Matthew; great grandchildren, Alexia, Jaxon and Hayley; brother, Tom Pawlowski; sisters, Toni Cole, JoAnne (Sam) Booth, Terri (Danny) Palmieri; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 12 noon Tuesday until service time. The family suggests memorials to the Palliative Care Unit at Summa Akron City Hospital, 525 E. Market Street, P.O. Box 2090, Akron, Ohio 44304-1619.
