Ruth Marie Kreiner

Ruth Marie Kreiner Ruth Kreiner, age 98, of Suffield went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2016. 

Preceded in death by parents, William and Veulah Myers; her husband of 64 years, Dwight Kreiner; sisters, Dorothy Sprankle, Laura Andrick, Eva Frame; and great-grandson, Matthew Titko, Ruth is survived by sister, Thelma Uplinger; sons, Ken (Marjorie) Kreiner of Reminderville and Kyle (Kathy) Kreiner of Suffield; grandchildren, Kristina (Doug) Titko of Brimfield, Brenda (Bob) Willis of Aurora, Kim (Mike) Shondrick of Randolph, Laura (Jack) Haas of Chagrin Falls and Kurtis (Missy) Kreiner of Brimfield; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

Mom and Dad’s lifelong home is now part of the Mogadore Historical Society. Mom saw many changes in her 98 years from travel by horse and buggy, no TVs or phones to today’s modern transportation, cell phones and computers. She loved to refer to the “good-ole-days.” 

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Gary R. Friend officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Suffield Fire Department, Harbor Light Hospice in Munroe Falls, or the Matt Titko Memorial Fund at Suffield United Church of Christ.
