Ruth A. Etapa

"Together Again" Ruth A. Etapa, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2016. 

Born in De Pere, Wis., she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Ruth was employed as a waitress for many years, and retired from Akron Auto Glass as a CSR. She enjoyed shopping and gardening in her spare time. Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew W., parents, and all nine of her siblings; Ruth is survived by her three sons, Andrew C., David J. (Dottie) and Kevin J. (Nicole); four grandsons, Michael (Elyse), Ryan (Stephanie), Erik and Nathan; one special granddaughter, Katlyn with whom she had a very special bond; great-granddaughter, Rylie; and soon to be born great-grandson, Gabriel. 

Friends and family will be received Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Emhoff officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
