Ruth Eickelman

Ruth Eickelman, 86, passed away December 14, 2013 after a brief illness.

Born in Clifty, Kentucky, Ruth lived in the Mogadore area for the last 57 years and retired from the City Laundry Co.

Preceded in death by her brother, Dawson Cox; she is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim; daughter, Yvonne Eickelman of Uniontown; son, Jim (Maryann) Eickelman of Mogadore; grandchildren, Erin (Derek) Klaus of Akron, Stephen Eickelman of Mogadore and Angela Eickelman of Akron; great-granddaughters, Ella and Olivia; and nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Summa Critical Care Department.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, 12:00 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, with Father Michael Williamson officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mogadore Fire and Rescue Department, 135 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
