Ruth Louise Bennett

God chose this day to take her home to spend eternity with Him. Her reunion with family and friends must have been grand.

Born in Gilmer County, West Va., Ruth was a longtime nursing caregiver who retired from the State Hospital in Spencer, West Va. Previously, she worked in the Missile System Division in California. Ruth attended Our Lord’s House of Prayer and continued to practice her faith at Pebble Creek, where she faithfully attended services during her time there.

Preceded in death by siblings, Harvey Bennett, Tressie Noland, Berton Bennett, Wonetta Frye, Dennis Bennett, Oscar Bennett, and Beulah Bennett; she is survived by brothers, Clark (Russie) and Arnie (Lois) Bennett of Akron, Leamon (Ochacha) Bennett of the State of Washington, Todd (Janet) Bennett of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312, with Minister Daryl Moulder officiating. Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
