Rosemary Calderone

Rosemary Calderone, age 59, passed away November 12, 2018 after a long illness. She was born in Barberton, Ohio and lived most of her life in the Akron area. Rosemary was employed as a nurse with Altercare Wadsworth for 30 years and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Rosemary treasured spending time with her family and was blessed with the opportunity to hold her grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Triesa; Rosemary is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas E.; son, Thomas M. (Samantha Lane) of Akron; daughter, Elizabeth P. of Suffield; grandson, Luca Calderone; brothers, Don (Lynn), Larry and Kenny (Sandy) Oscai; and sister, Betty (Jim) Kavelaries. Family and friends will be received Thursday, from 3 to 6 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral Service will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Chester Hitchcock officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
