Ronald L. VanHorn

Ronald L. VanHorn, age 71, passed away at home on April 9, 2017. Ron proudly served his country in the Air Force, honorably discharged as an Airman 3rd Class, Fireman II. He was National President of Akron Big Wheels RVC. One of his great loves was not only building motorcycles but riding them also. Ron loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and hanging out with friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Ron was loved and is greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Josh (Amanda); daughters, Shannon (Chuck), Brandi (Amy), Rhonda (Shawn), Ronnette and Michelle; son, Roger (Abby); many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A procession will leave from F.O.E. Club 555, 89 E. Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 on Friday, April 28 promptly at 9:30 a.m. for inurnment with military honors, which will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273.
