Ronald S. Cramer

Ronald S. Cramer, 74. passed away February 29, 2012.

Born in Akron, he lived in Suffield for the past 50 years. Ron and Barb also enjoyed their winter home in Mission, Texas where they had many close friends. Ron was employed with Ohio Operating Engineers for 50 years, retiring in 1998, and was a member of Akron Free Will Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his father, Sherman; and brother, Theodore. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara L.; sons, William E. (Suzanne), and Ronald C. (Lori) of Suffield; daughters, Debra J. (Terry) Jack of Atwater and Rebecca M. (Vince) Mathia of Kinsman, Oh.; nine grandchildren, Anissa, Michelle, T.J., Danielle, Kyle, Billy, Kayla, Vince and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Brody, Declan and Billy; mother, Mary Cramer; brothers, Donnie, Jerry, Danny, Clem, Rex, Jim and Mike; sisters, Janet Vanaman and Carole Madden; along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Akron Free Will Baptist Church 1802 Eastwood Ave., Akron 44305, with Rev. K. L. Frisbee officiating.  Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.  Friends may call at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron 44312, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.  Memorials may be made to the Jean & Milton Cooper Cancer Fund, 161 N.
