Roland M. Bonner

Roland “Ronnie” Bonner, age 44, went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Akron, he worked as a truck driver for twenty years. He enjoyed fishing, home projects, and gardening. But most of all, he loved just being home and spending time with his wife and three boys.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pamela Bonner; sons, Austin, Zachary, Matthew; mother, Rosemarie King; brothers, Jon King (Tracy), Kris King (Trisha), Michael Bonner, Adam Bonner; sisters, Michelle Rix (Tim), Kristen Mansfield (Jeff), Gina Brogan; many nieces and nephews; and beloved family pets, Rocky, Coco, and Stormie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in the care of Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, November 3^rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 4^th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
