Roger "Dewayne" Hicks

Roger “Dewayne” Hicks Jr., age 55, went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2015. 

Born in Barberton, Ohio, he lived most of his life in the Springfield area before moving to Carrollton. Dewayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and painting. 

Preceded in death by niece, Marinna; and grandparents, Darrell and Velma Hicks, Arnold and Geraldine Higgins; he is survived by his loving companion, Debby Dulkoski; parents, Roger and DeLoryes Hicks; sons, Jamie and Joshua; daughters, Amanda, Miranda, Penny and Tosha; grandchildren, Sivanna, Mackenzie, Brooklynn, Brylee, Beckett, Luke, Peter, Annabelle, Kaylee, Carson and Cory; sisters, Leona (Bob) Plesz and their children, Danielle, Lauren and Bradley, Shelly Hicks and her son, Joseph, and Cynthia (Jim) Duckworth and their daughters, Cierra, Savannah and Julianna.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
