Roean F. Wieland

Roean F. Wieland, age 70, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2017. Roean was born on August 12, 1946 to the late Arlie and Betty Hickman. She married Bob Wieland in 1963. Together they enjoyed many happy years living on Springfield Lake where they raised their son Jerry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry and husband, Bob. Roean will be fondly remembered by her sister, Ardith Evans (Mike); daughter-in-law, Connie Wieland; grandchildren, Jerry Lee, Travos (Michelle) and Heather; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Arbors of Stow for their continued care of Roean. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service Monday, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
