Rodney A. Palmer, age 67, passed away on January 4, 2016. Born in Akron, he was a graduate of South High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Rodney lived in Springfield Township and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and working on cars.
He is survived by sons, Matthew (Jennifer), Brian (Tracy) and Jason Palmer; grandchildren, Ashlee, Sydnee, Emily, Anna, Beckham and Camden; brother, David Palmer; sister, Claudia Owens; nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Friday, 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Rich Ferris officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
