Robin R. Fink

Robin Fink, 71, passed away October 24, 2023.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was a resident of Uniontown. Rob graduated from Springfield High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an employee at the Ellet Meat Market and Laser Delivery. He loved riding his motorcycle and traveling. Every five years for the past 25 years, he would travel to San Diego with his brother to participate in the “Vetsa” (Vietnam Era Twin Study) conducted by U.S.C. and the Human Services.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Whelma and Russell Fink Sr.; sister, Sharon (Kay); and brothers, Russ and Gary. He is survived by his brother, Byron Sr. (Joe) Fink and twin brother, Eric (Rick) Fink (Barbara) of Akron, OH; sister, Donna (Vickie) Engle of Manheim, PA; nephews, Kevin Myers (Sheri) of Uniontown, OH, Byron Jr. (Joey) Fink (Kristie) of FL, Michelle Green (David) of Huntsville, AL, Melissa Greenleaf of Akron, OH, Shantel Watson of Cleveland, OH; 22 great nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Kevin and Sheri Myers for sharing their home with Rob and caring for him throughout his illness. Also thanks to Jerry Gerard, sister-in-law Pat Fink (Gary), and Orita Erhard (Ruthie).

Family and friends will be received Saturday, November 4^th from 12 to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Private interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
