Robert H. Wilkins

Robert H. Wilkins III, age 49, passed away on December 11, 2018. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, he graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and currently resided in Uniontown. Previously employed by Superior Heating and Plumbing, he was the owner of Akron Leak Detection. Rob was a great handyman and jack-of-all-trades, and was truly at his happiest when completing projects. He loved watching football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Rob’s absolute favorite place to be was the Marblehead Lighthouse. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mary Wilkins, Rob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melanie; son, Nicholas Christopher Wilkins; daughter, Rachel Ann Wilkins; parents, Bob and Cathy Wilkins; sister, Brandie (Kenny) Hoover; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue).
