Robert West, age 76, died on November 24, 2015.
Born in Akron, he was a lifelong resident of the area, and was the owner of Hilltop Aggregate for 21 years. Robert’s interests included NASCAR, traveling and hot air balloons.
Preceded in death by wife, Ruthann West of 32 years; wife, June Dryden West of 10 years; and brother, John West, he is survived by sons, Russell (Jacqueline) and Ronald (Kelly); daughter, Cindy; sister, Norma Yanik; and seven grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312. Private graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park with family friend, Dave Duma officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
