Robert P. McDanield

Robert (Bob) McDanield, age 86, of Uniontown went to the Lord on February 17. Bob spent his entire life in the Akron area, attending Buchtel High School and the University of Akron before enlisting in the Marine Corp. He was employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years. His passions in life after his family included fishing and golf.

Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria, two children, Harry McDanield and Nancy (Paul) Prysiazny along with two granddaughters, Alyson (Simas) Laniauskas and Rachel (Andrew) Noll, and six great-grandchildren, Lukas, Emerson, Aria, Rayna, Luna, and Noah. He also always treasured his relationship with his nephew, Larry Leno. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Cleo McDanield, along with brother, Raymond Jr. and sister, Marge Meade.
