Robert G. Edwards

Robert Edwards, 65, passed away April 18, 2016. 

Born in Akron, Ohio, Robert has lived in the Akron area all of his life. After graduating from Green High School and the University of Akron, Robert began his career with Akron Standard/ Micro Poise, and retired after 43 years of service. He was a past member of the Ellet Youth Baseball and Basketball associations. Robert enjoyed fishing with his friends Ed and Tony, pretending to be a handyman with Tom, and always had time for a cup of coffee with Betty and Brenda. He loved his everyday chats with his twin sister. 

Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Loretta. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gerri; daughter, Lisa; brothers, Larry (Gloria), Don (Judy), Dave (Marla), Glenn and Frank (Cathy); sisters, Rita, Fran (Kevin) and Beverly; and Paw Pals, Woody and Cole. 

Cremation has taken place, and per Robert’s request there will be no services. The family requests memorial donations be made in Robert’s honor to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44308.
