Robert Ellis Calhoun, 87, went home to be with the Lord, March 6, 2016.
He was born in Akron and retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 38 years of service. Robert was a member of The Chapel in Green. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eleanor Calhoun; he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Sue; sons, Sam and Tim Calhoun; daughters, Cathy Herrin and Patti Ranshaw; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Lynn Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to The Chapel in Green, 1800 Raber Road, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
