Robert W. "Bob" Cuckler

Robert W. “Bob” Cuckler Sr., 74, passed away May 16, 2015.
He was born in Akron and lived in Uniontown, Ohio. Bob graduated from Garrett High School in Garrett, Indiana, served in the U.S. Army as an MP, and retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. He was a member of UAW and enjoyed reading, photography, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur P. and Bernice A. (Stull) Cuckler. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; sons, Robert Jr. (Barbara), Ronald (Lindy) and Michael (Jennifer); grandchildren, Aaron, Hannah, Jacob, John, Andrew, Aidan, Ryan and Dylan; brother, Richard (Nancy) Cuckler; nephew, David (Judi) Cuckler of Florida.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) where wake services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Christ Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father David Halaiko officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery where Firestone VFW Post #3383 will conduct military rites. The family suggests memorials to Boy Scout Troop 15, c/o 13276 Dawn NW, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
