Robert L. Bachman

Robert L. Bachman, age 74, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on January 31, 2025. 

Bob was born in Akron, Ohio on May 24, 1950. He graduated from East High School in Akron. He worked at Firestone, Akron Equipment, and later at Little Tikes which allowed him to spoil his grandchildren with the same toys he helped make.

Remaining to cherish Bob’s memory are his wife Linda Sue; his children Scott (Kim) and Amanda (Michelle Pippenger); his grandchildren Matthew (Amanda), Noah, Henry Pippenger, Jenna Pippenger, and Isaac; and his siblings Sonny (Clara), Jerry, and Joann Mayfield.

Preceding Bob in death are his mother Ann Mangan, step father Al Mangan, father Lester Bachman, and brother-in-law Paul Mayfield. 

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, February 5th from 10 am to 12 pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm with Reverend Seth Young officiating.
