Rita M. White (Seibel)

Rita M. White, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, with her family by her side.

Rita was born December 26, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to parents Joseph and Anna (Gette) Seibel. She was the last of nine siblings. She met her husband Robert of 67 years when she attended St. Bernard’s Elementary School. She graduated from Central High School and went on to be a bookkeeper at First National Bank.

Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her whole life revolved around her faith and Love of family.

Rita was a member of Nativity Of The Lord Jesus Catholic Church. Her love for Mother Mary and the Rosary was a daily occurrence.

Rita is survived by her husband: Robert and her children: Robert Jr., Debora (John) Schweninger, Joseph (Lora) White, Judy (Ray) Czerwinski. She also leaves her grandchildren: Ashley (Dan) Weimer, Jared (Katie) Schweninger, Cassandra White and Joshua White; great-grandchildren: Haylee, Emersyn, Roman, Loftyn and Myles.

The Golden Girls are together again.

A private service and burial was held at her family’s request. Memorial contributions in Rita’s name can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Rita touched the lives of many who knew her and will be truly missed.
