Rita E. Buehrle

Together Again.

Rita E. Buehrle, born December 24, 1926, passed away on December 12, 2024. She most recently lived in Uniontown, OH but spent many years in Portage Lakes. Rita graduated from Kenmore High School. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. She enjoyed her family, bowling, baseball, and boating on Portage Lakes.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Richard D. Buerhle; all of her brothers and sisters; her parents, David and Evelyn Swope; grandson, James Polack; and son in laws, Robert Keck and Kenneth Eichler. She is survived by her sons, Dennis P. Buehrle (Betty) and Richard M. Buehrle; daughters, Kathleen M. Eichler, and Barbara Keck; grandchildren, Ed Polack(Kanako), Michael Polack (Lyndsey), Theresa Truitt (Phil), Dennis P. Eichler (Michelle), Christopher Eichler (Amy), and Eric Eichler (Dannette); great grandchildren, Kirsten, Erika, Melanie, Shae, Dani, Pace, Brandon, Avalyn, Penelope, and Rue.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, with a Mass immediately following. The family suggests memorials be made in memory of Rita to St. Joseph’s Church (2643 Waterloo Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260).
