Richard A. "Dickie" Wise

Richard A. “Dickie” Wise Richard A. “Dicke” Wise completed his journey on this earth on November 4, 2016 at the age of 49. He was born in Ravenna and lived in Atwater. Dickie received an honorary diploma from Waterloo High School. He enjoyed watching sports and listening to music, and loved to travel with his family. Dickie was preceded in death by his father, Chester H. Wise; and brother, Chester H. Wise II. He is survived by his mother, Naomi R. Wise; sisters, Ruth Ankeny, Susan Wilson, Jo Ann Wise, and Ginny Wise; brothers-in-law, Rich Ankeny, Bob Wilson, Kipp Kreft, and Dick Boylan; nephews, Mike Wise, Chad Ankeny (Deanna), and Sean Wilson (Kelsey); nieces, Erin Wilson, Emma Wise, and Claire Kreft. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service and burial will be private. The family suggests memorials to the Atwater Fire Department, 6570 Waterloo Road, Atwater, OH 44201.
