Richard J. "Rick" Fanoni

Richard J. “Rick” Fanoni, age 58, passed away on June 6, 2014.

Born in Akron, he lived in the area all of his life, and graduated from Springfield High School. Rick was employed at McDonalds for 17 years. He enjoyed reading and history, and the Bible. In his spare time, he liked to go fishing and hiking.

Preceded in death by his mother, Betty Fanoni; and grandparents; Rick is survived by his dad, Jim Fanoni; brothers, David and Mark Fanoni; nieces, Alicia and her daughter, Kaylee and son, Layden; and Cassandra and her daughter, Raylee.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. \
