Richard D. Armour, 74, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Akron, Oh.
Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Green Beret (Special Forces), he retired from Bridgestone/Firestone, was a member of the Allenside Athletic Club and loved coaching his daughter and her friends on various softball teams. He was also an avid Cleveland sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians.
Rick was preceded in death by parents Adam and Esther (McKenna) Armour; and brother and sister-in-law, James and Ann Armour. He is survived by wife, Karen, of 46 years; daughter, Jennifer Eubank; granddaughters, Madison and Brooklyn Eubank; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Bonnie Armour; and special kitties, Chloe and Peeps.
Family and friends are invited to a reception and celebration of Rick’s life at the Allenside Athletic Club, 2533 Manchester Road, Akron, OH 44319 on Saturday, December 8, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Per Rick’s wishes, there will not be any services at the funeral home.
