R. Margaret Keller

R. Margaret Keller, age 94, went home to be with the Lord November 17, 2014.

Born in Akron, she lived in Hartville over 40 years, graduated from Ellet High School and earned her associate degree with the University of Akron. Margaret retired from Kenmore Lumber where she worked over 50 years. She was a former member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and presently a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Margaret enjoyed crafts, her dogs, going on 18 cruises, the last one was two summers ago at the age of 92.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Joseph “Happy Joe”; children, Richard (Nanette), Jane (Fred) Chronister, Steve (Dianne), Chris (Gary) Coz and Diane (Paul) Yeager; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Jane) Jefferson; sister, Catherine Kenepp; and special friend, Bob Bell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10 a.m., at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison Street N.W., Uniontown, Ohio 44685 with Father John Zapp celebrating. The family will receive friends Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Stark County, 5100 Peach Street, Louisville, Ohio 44641.
