Penny Lynn Knox

Penny Lynn Knox, age 54, passed away on December 21, 2015. 

Born in Buffalo, New York, she lived in the Akron area since 1976, and retired from Hattie Larlham. Penny loved life and was a true angel here on earth. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Katherine Jones; in-laws, John and June Knox; and great-nephew, Caleb Huffman, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Larry Sr.; son, Larry Jr. (Dawn); daughters, Teresa Stack and Julia Kunkle; grandchildren, Matt (Keirsten), Kenny (Dana), Damian, Mariah, Maddie “Cat” and Stevie; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, McKenna, Heather and Morgen; sister, Karen (Chuck) Bennett; brothers, Darryl (Janice), Ray (Tammy), and Dennis (Mary); and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held Monday, 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
